This is a good question and one that has been asked numerous times on the RTÉ television series that is currently in its first season. Click here for more on the series. Food is our fuel. And, to ensure we are “running” well like an engine, we need to ensure this food is of good quality. Sausages, black puddings, chicken rolls and bread have been some of the topics discussed on this show and every Thursday morning in our stores, we always find people have lots of questions for us and we are always happen to answer them.
Food is such a major part of our lives and sometimes too we just don’t pay it the attention it deserves. One of the main reasons Garrett and I set up our stores was our passion for food and butchering. We were also very aware that people were becoming more time poor and had less and less time to prepare meals for their families. We focused on ‘value added products’ as they are known in the trade, where we do all the preparing and spend that time you don’t have cutting, rolling, marinading and trimming all those lovely products you see in our counters every day. So, all you have to do is to pop them into the oven.
Our focus has always been on quality and customer service. We made this pact to each other from the outset, way back in 2004, and promised that this focus would not wain over time. We have surrounded ourselves with a team that has the same values and focus as we do. So, don’t be shy when you come to our stores. Always feel free to ask us lots of question and always be aware of what you are eating.
